Update to the Quarantine Measures Applicable by Japan to passengers from Turkey (29 April 2022)

(1) According to the announcement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan on 28 April 2022, the passengers entering Japan from Turkey will be exempt from residence/hotel quarantine provided that they can document to have been administered 3 doses of a Japanese-recognized vaccination (effective as of 29 April).

In the meantime, quarantine measureswill still beapplicable to passengers who have not been administered 3 doses of vaccination or fail to document as such.

(2) As part of counter measures against Covid-19, Japan currently does not allow touristic visits from any country.

(3) However, asof 1 March 2022, visits for business/work and education are possible on the condition that necessary registration and application proceduresare completed by inviting Japanese organizations/companies and that the application isapprovedby the Japanese authorities.
